Two Brad Pitt Films that failed to garner any awards or nominations since 2004 were, ‘Ocean’s Thirteen’ and ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith’. Yet, the total gross receipts at the box office for each of these movies was in excess of $100 million. Future Brad Pitt films include ‘The Tree of Life’ due to be released in late 2009 and ‘Inglourious Basterds’, a Quentin Tarantino movie, where Brad plays an illiterate hillbilly from the mountains of Tennessee. The film has wrapped up after shooting on location in Germany and France and is expected to be released in time for the Cannes Film Festival.
